Maybe power cycling the monitor where it was connected would have fixed it, who knows.If you want to scroll a page or document without having to use the scroll bar, get a mouse with a middle scroll wheel.

I now have the mouse receiver plugged back in and the issue is gone. The mouse was not powered on, I'm not sure why it was doing this. Removed it, reconnected the USB cable and life was wonderful again. I had a receiver from a mouse that I haven't used in months. The 2nd cable I removed, was a USB to my monitor for a built-in USB hub. I'm thinking to myself, what in the world could be wrong with the dock to cause this.īefore swapping out the dock, I started removing cables one by one. I popped my laptop into someone else's dock and the issue was not present.

I have removed my logitech wireless mouse/keyboard (which is connected to the laptop, not the dock), no change. Windows is up to date, drivers up to date, firmware on the laptop, the dock, the logitech mouse/keyboard all up to date.
